The plunging starship and its wake looks like a giant pencil or marker, drawing the black border between panels 4 and 5. This is especially apparent in the thumbnail version of this page that appears whenever I open a new window. Seeing as how essential pencils & such are to creating art, I can't help but wonder whether this was intentional. Symbolic, perhaps? |
