Again, Heyoka out here with these foresighted deep cuts...the audiobook Children of Time literally features jumping spiders evolving on a distant planet, and it's just as rad as it sounds.
Where did you go Heyoka ;-;

These new characters seem to be getting smaller and smaller.
I wonder if any insects or similar creatures will be making an appearance next?

I love this arc more with every update. Strelka may be my favorite character in NofNA history...next to Pikachu, of course :)

The untraslation of Abe and Strelka's joke on page 19 ended up being a mistake that I still have to fix. The animals speak Common all the time, but because we speak English, the translator makes it sound English to our ears automatically.
For example, the animals don't speak English, but they can understand Yuri because he is being translated into Common for them. Yuri doesn't get a machine translation for us reading, because we already understand his language.

I wonder if they're really using a 'translator' like a machine... or if they're just using metanoia-like abilities to translate. Seems like most everything in this world is connected to the mind, after all.

They always translate if there's a human involved. The exception was Strelka and Abe sharing a private joke.

I wonder why the animals are using their translators when they could speak common to each other; I guess it's out of respect to the human there.

Strelka is wearing shoes on the hind-paws?
does that mean if we want to draw this arc's characters as humans, they should be naked?

Oh Nobody, I think we've all been reading Nofna arcs too long. I totally agree.
Also, Hector doesn't look like a guinea pig. Adopted?

Hector seems like he's gonna die in this; he's just too adorable to make it through an entire nofna arc unscathed.
