It looks like they're referring to money as credit at this point. I'm not suuure there's a reason to necessarily assume the references to space are calling space a currency. It could just be room in the.. queue. Hell I don't know, it's hard to say what they're talking about given what we know of the world at this point. :X

Only reason I would choose measurements of space over time is because they actually call the currency space... plus it goes with the being completely virtual theory (ex: you can spend as much time on the computer as you want, but you can only hold so much data).
Oh, and I forgot to mention: this makes me think they're at something like a sci-fi convention too.

Is it really by space? Those symbols could also stand for minutes and seconds. Memory in the mind could be calculated by how much time you spend observing, dreaming, etc.

If he's yelling "I crafted this suit!" it could be because he spent so much time on it.

I'm just speculating, as everyone else is, but it'd seem more logical to calculate everything in minutes and seconds rather than physical feet and inches. Time is money as they say. XD

aha

They're definitely not physically there. Virtual world run in the minds of the people? Venom 8's work in a form that succeeded?

Okay, so what I'm getting so far is that they might be living in some kind of virtual society and that's why space is currency (looking at the feet and inches on the screen). Like there's only a certain amount of memory "space" to use so that's why.
