I think there are three internal XX's: The young one that fell Estrus The new young one (who hasn't awakened yet) Then there's the outer XX, who is an amalgamation of their aspirations. Adding onto our pile of biblical themes that I've detected, she needs to be "born again" if she wants to free herself of her old sins.

I don't think she's pregnant, a while back there was another dream-like sequence that involved brown XX forming this fruit-like womb around herself, saying she was going to watch and wait until she was strong enough to stand up against 'Fig'. I forget the exact page number but it is brown XX within the fruit.

The big fruit kind of reminds me of an ovary. Which then makes the little stoat remind me of a baby (ignoring actual reproductive biology). I don't think XX is pregnant though. But what version of her in incubating in there, I wonder?

@#4: I think Fig's comment relates to the fact that she is the only Fig present. Both the abstract stoat and the stoat in the womb are iterations of XX, not Fig.

@4 I think Fig's comment is more in line with Sherry's attitude towards Cherry. She's making XX out to be irrelevant, so she can focus Smoothie's attention on her. @7 SV was able to take out trained professionals...

Although, interesting question: Fig's comment hints at a certitude of being the only one. The growth visibly contains a stoat-like shape. What does she think is inside that growth? Or is she actually unable to perceive it and guess at its purpose, given XX created it specifically to hide from Fig? Does she just simply dismiss it as irrelevant, if she can perceive it?
